The homepage is one of the most viewed pages on every website. To make sure that one of your primary marketing tools is doing it's job, here's three things your homepage should have.

1. Calls-to-Action

A call-to-action (CTA) is a button and/or link directing users to the action you want them to take. For example, I want users to get in touch with me, therefore I have "let's talk" links under each one of my services linking to my contact page. Primary CTA's should be a direct reflection of the main goal of your website.

2. Testimonials

Have you ever bought anything before reading the reviews first? Most likely, no. Sharing positive client experiences is a great way to showcase how amazing you and your business is. Users don't want to hear how great you think you are, they want facts and true stories.

3. Visuals

Users are more likely to browse images than read long paragraphs of text. Keep in mind that images should be good quality and not distorted. They should also speak to the messaging that is being presented and relate to your buyer persona.

If you need help with your web strategy and you are not sure where to start, let's talk.
