Baby girl banner with modern calligraphy and pink paper flowers

One of my friends recently welcomed a baby girl into the world! Since I love to make things, I decided to make a super cute name banner for baby Brynn.

Here's what I used:

  1. Tombow Dual Brush Pen
  2. Recollections Pink Button Card Stock Paper
  3. Recollections Signature Shimmer Card Stock Paper
  4. Recollections Flower Lever Punch
  5. Ashland Natural Jute Twine
  6. Sewing Machine + Thread
  7. Glue Gun
  8. Scissors
  9. Pencil
  10. Hole punch

My Process:

  1. Cut bunting banners from the Recollections Shimmer card stock.
  2. Draw each letter on individual banners using a grey Tombow pen.
  3. Sew bunting banners together with sewing machine.
  4. Punch a hole at each end of the banner – at the upper right area of the bunting. Tie a piece of twine through each hole.
  5. Using paper punch, cut out flower shapes with the Recollections Pink Buttons card stock.
  6. Curl the petals with a pencil.
  7. Layer the petals and glue them together with a glue gun to form a flower.
  8. Glue flowers to buntings.
